I don't know where you you get your info on what Jane Fonda did while she was in Vietnam, but you should know that your little Col. Corrigan story is a complete work of fiction. The event which you detail concerning Jane Fonda being passed secret little notes from captured American servicemen and then passing said notes on to their captors is complete BULLSHIT--the incident NEVER took place. Granted, the woman made some mistakes. She has admitted as much and she has, arguably with sincerity, apologized for having made some pretty thoughtless statements. Let's agree that she was zealous, but let's not make shit up about her. I can see how she could have called servicemen "liars and hypocrites". I can also see how she could be sorry for having made such a statement in the heat of the moment.
Is she so evil? I'm sure there have to be a few men who served in Vietnam who know who the true DEVILS of that conflict are. Names like Kissinger, Nixon, Westmoreland spring to mind. Men who lied in order to secure their places in history. Men who employed the CIA and FBI to spy on and to intimidate any citizen who didn't buy the lies they were telling. Men who had the power to end the carnage at ANY time, but instead dragged the war on year after year in order to save face. They are the ones responsible for the needless loss of life, and Jane Fonda was against those very men. While she may not have done everything right, she certainly didn't do anything WRONG on purpose, which is more than I can say for the aforementioned Nixon, Kissinger, and Westmoreland.
