It was illegal, immoral, wrong for the US to be in Viet Nam. That fact cannot be changed by any amount of whining, sanctimony, or blaming of those who you hate for having seen through the lie to which you cling.
You _have_ to hate Jane Fonda: it's the only way to sustain your fantasy that the US is able to act "honorably" toward Viet Nam and its peoples.
