Math 1411/511: Calculus II

Topics covered: Applications of integration. Differentiation of trigonometric and exponential functions and their inverses. Techniques of integration. Improper integrals, indeterminate forms, polar coordinates and vectors. Applications using computer software packages. Prerequisite: MATH 1401. (4 credits).

Note: We will make extensive use of the computer algebra package Maple. Please ensure that you have that software installed. Call the Help Desk at x 2222 if you need assistance.

We will also use a software package called Dyknow Vision. Please download and install that package.
