there's always a defense for the defenseless, buy pointing the fingers in the other direction. in war there are no innocents. n.vietnam, s.vietnam, america. were all guilty of terrible things. but to excuse one by saying the other did the same thing does not make either right.
in hinesight, we should have never been over there. but i'll refuse to blame the soldiers who were there for what happened. i'll also disagree with jane and her actions. i'll defend her right to protest the war, but to do so on, at the time, enemy soil, i will always believe to be wrong.
i forgive her, she apoligized. but i don't have to forget what she did, just like i won't forget what america did by sending babies to fight an unjust war.
