Pride

From Justin Howell, on Sun, 20 Dec 1998 10:16:56 GMT

First of all I am 20 years old. I know that isn't very old but its old enough to see things. What I'm talking about is the total lack of respect for the flag, the national anthem and our veterans by kids these days. I know that when I hear the star spangled banner being played I get goosebumps thinking about all the men and women who went to some strange place and layed down their life for this country. And kids these days don't even think about it. They just see a piece of colored cloth or hear a song. The don't understand the meaning behind them.
