Read before you fight

Son,
   Before you or anyone decides to fight in any so-called war you should read the book "We Were Soldiers Once And Young."  It was written by Joe Galloway and Hal Moore.
   This will give you a true feeling of what war is really like.  And always question the goverments reasons for "their" wars.  Most of them have nothing to do with keeping this country free. There may be a reason to fight, but never let another Vietnam happen again.
   I was a medic in the 1st Cav Div.in Vietnam.
