Taping will be optional. IF you want a record of your presentation, turn on a personal recording device. Although it is possble for the Professor to record the entire session in Teams, but that would mean your presentation video would essentially be public. and part of the course archives.

Different drop off options have been considered & for this limited-prep presentation, a drop off assignment spot will be activated in MindTap so that you can upload your outline and (if applicable) any visuals you may be using. As always, if there is a problem accessing the Mindtap slot, you can always directly email the items instead.

N.B. The TBD/TBA Presentation uses a "Peer Review: 2 X 2" procedure -- each designated evaluator (see specifications below) is assigned to comment on the specified speaker by sending an email within 24-48 hours after the presentation. OR use this alternate delivery method: enter your2X2 in Mindtap.
- REVIEW's CONTENT: The review is brief. Include at least two(2) performance/skill aspects of the presenation that you found to be effective -- either content-related / delivery related / audience-cnteredness-related.
- In addition include at least two(2) notes-for-improvement -- either content-related / delivery related / audience-cnteredness-related.
- REVIEW's TRANSMISSION: This time evaluators should send their comments in an email directly to the speaker and should copy [cc] the Professor on the email.

ADDITIONAL REMINDERS:

The submission of your outline = (1) the extemp. outline + the bibliography &(2) visuals ( if applicable) upload in Mindtap by 11:30am on day of presentation

Review the basic guidelines that were in effect for the previous speeches this semester.

As always, be sure your presentation (including any "presentation aids") falls within the time limits. Use your time to develop your central idea, not for loading in more points. Also, please be aware that your grade will be affected if you are appreciably less than 3 min. or more than 5 min.

No hats, of course

EVALUATOR: via direct email / cc Professor / TWO good points_ & _TWO notes-for-improvement_. Be constructive & supportive.

>>> Class Procedure for Presentation Days:

1. All speech outlines for that day's speakers will be submitted in advance into designated slot in MindTap (preferably no later than 11:30am. Earlier is better)

2. Evaluators should be prepared to write down notes on their designated person. (You can "pin" the speaker on your Teams screen in order to keep that person as a large image on your screen.

4. Using a volunteer method, each speaker will deliver his/her presentation. However, speakers CAN request a specific slot in advance --

5. At the end of the day's presentations, Evaluators will submit their written comments to the speakers. We will be experimenting with two different method is possible. to enter the comments in Mindtap or to use email [ ccing the professor] IF there is time, evaluators also will get to summarize their comments orally.
