Hello there, I was stationed at Phan Rang from April 1966 to April 1967. I was assigned to the 35th Air Police Squadron, Panther Flight. We supported the K-9's that patroled our fence line. Enjoyed the photos and I remember a shrine being just outside our main gate past "THE STRIP" on the south side of the highway. I believe it was east of the base. We heard that it was mined and to stay away from it. So we just looked at it as we drove past almost on a daily basis. This highway led to the town of Thop Cham. Thop Cham was a few miles south of the city of Phan Rang. Welcome home, Don
