Phan Rang Air Base 1966-1967

From Donald E. Dinubilo, on Mon, 25 May 1998 18:38:02 GMT (in response to: Get in Touch)

Hello there Chris, I saw those photo's you sent out. The base looked very different in 1966. I wanted to know if most of those photos were taken from Nuey Dot? Looking North? The 35th Air Police Squadron lived in 12 man tents at first and then hootches later on. The armory and headquarters were located at the bottom of Nuey Dot. Our tents then went up the side of the mountain. I have 35mm slides that my brother and I took starting in late '65. I want to get them to you but I need to get a scanner asap. Keep up the good work. Sorry I wasn't able to help identify any of your photos. Take care. Don My e -mail is : dinubilo@gte.net
