It seems so hard for people to grasp the fact that winning isn't everything. So many people in vietnam were terrorized and violated merely because the capitalist countries of the world feared the rise of communism. what would have happened to those people if the united states had won? i believe their lives would not represent happiness and democratic freedom. education and the ability to realize that not all cultures are or would like to mirror ours is necessary for the progression of any society.
