Whose WAR?

From Dallas J. Riddle, on Mon, 14 Jun 1999 16:51:59 GMT (in response to: It was not your war.)

Not only was this our war, it was also south vietnams, Thailands,S.Korea's, Phillippines, Australia and the other members of SEATO. Not only did we have a right, a responsibility, morally and legally, we sold the South Vietnamese out as a people. People in the world need to wake up about this part of history. Countries support NATO and its joining countries. We cannot afford to pick and choose which battles to get into, if it involves a member nation .............then we have to support and stop armed aggression against any SEATO/NATO members. That is what peace treaties are signed for. As long as I breathe, I will always feel "WE" as a nation sold out our allies.
