Vietnam Veterans are Heroes

From Stacey Fryer, on Tue, 05 Nov 1996 01:42:43 GMT

I'm a seventeen year old girl at the Haddonfield Memorial
High School, and one of the courses I take is Vietnam.
I don't fully understand the war. In my opinion we never
should have gone over. So many men lost their lives in what
seems to me, a pointless war.
We've had a lot of Veterans come in and speak to our class,
and you can see in their eyes that the still live and breath
the Vietnam war everyday.
I'm writing this response to thank all the men who fought and
risked their lives in such a dangerous war. To those who
died, and to those still alive, you are all heroes in my eyes.
Thank you all so much, and welcome home!
                      Sincerely,
                          Stacey Fryer
