thanks stacy, but i'm no "hero"

i did my job over there in the marine infantry, then came home. unlike others, i didn't want any medals or parades, etc.

it was over for me and i wanted to get back to my life-i did. i think you'll find that most viet vets don't spend much time thinking about it any more. we've become the politicians, lawyers, accountants, entrepeneurs, etc. in other words, war is not our problem now. if it happens again it will be my generation who sends young people to fight. i hope we're a little smarter than those before us.
