Military

The U.S. did not lose the VietNam war for winning was not the objective.

From Randy Pham, on Thu, 17 Apr 1997 22:19:40 GMT (in response to: Why We Didn't Lose Viet Nam. )

Prolong the war in VietNam was the American objective. The Military Industrial Complex was reapping enormous profits from the war. But by April 30th 1975, the American people decided that they no longer want to fight and die for their country ( or so they thought ) while the rich military machine ( defense contractors ) keeps getting richer.
