it was our failure to act decisively, before it escalated to something we could not control,that caused all the excesses of war,and especially protracted engagements where the left hand not only does'nt know what the right hand is doing, but is also fighting with it.{sort of indian thumb wrestling with yourself,with the winner getting to poke you in the eye!!!} i'm not saying we were or are always right but as an american who enjoys extensive and previosly unheard of freedoms too numerous to list, i and many others,then and now, are not deluded into ignorance of the communist[and i'm talking about the real/realities of communst rule not philosophic{sp.}ideals ;i.e;repression,starvation,abuse of the most basic human rights,jailings and yes death,[just ask stalin about those 6-10 million peasants or the two million plus cambodians sihanouk murdered}[just for starters] ideology,i believe that ""FREEDOM IS NOT A GIFT, IT MUST BE WON OVER AND OVER""...
