Yes, communism is bad, and yes, it only works in thoery. But do you really believe that if one country falls, that we'll all go down? A country like vietnam isn't exactly a cornerstone in this planet and the fact that they were being taken over by communism was, in reality, no threat to our nation or our freedom. I enjoy my american freedoms as much as they next guy, but not at the cost of thousands upon thousands of unnesseary american lives lost.
