Spalshed by Napalm

From Catchie, on Sun, 01 Aug 1999 17:19:00 GMT (in response to: She was not "covered" in napalm . . . )

"The famous photo of the girl covered in napalm"!

Covered may not be the correct term, for if so she certainly would not have survived. However the young girl was in fact splashed by burning napalm, and although scarred to this day she did survive. This testamony comes from her self (though I can't recall her name), and the photographer (who I believe saved her life), among others.

This is what I have gathered from rather in-depth coverage of this girl some years ago on 60-Minutes.
