This looks similar to the harmonic series. In fact: n > n - 1, so that 1/n < 1/ (n-1). But the harmonic series diverges to positive infinity, hence the above series also diverges.

Note that we could state this argument as follows:

1 / n < 1 / (n-1)
for all n. Hence

Therefore, the series diverges.
