PRESENTATION SCHEDULE
Major Pres. # 2 {Informative Presentation} [[ format]] w/ "visual" aid} |
************************************************************************************
>> REMEMBER: BRING A "BLANK" AUDIO TAPE - It
should be cued so that it does not erase any previous tapings/practice sessions.
*************************************************************************************
re: "visual" aid equipment---
>> The Proxima
Projector (computer slides) has been reserved for all days. However, speakers
planning to use it for this presentation will need to set up & prepare to speak first.
>> If
you need other types of Audio-Visual aids other than a cassette player or a VCR/TV (e.g. if you need an overhead projector, an opaque projector, or similar
materials) you will need to ask
your professor to reserve those
through the Media Center (X9554) at least 48 hours prior to your presentation day.
>> You
are STRONGLY encouraged to be creatively effective in your use of presentation aids.
Review the suggestions & guidelines in chapter 15 (e.g. passing materials around your audience is NOT a recommended technique)
.
>> Although we have not yet done a Powerpoint (computer slides) workshop in class, the software is already loaded onto your Laptops & the instructions/tutorial/"Wizard" are easy to follow on your own. But, remember to KEEP IT SIMPLE.
