When Johnson had retired and was not able to run for president after cheating election votes, Richerd M. Nixon had taken the throne. While Nixon was pres. he had bombed the north harder than when Johnson had bombed them. From 1961 to 1975 500,000 Americans had died triing to serve justice into the hands of the inocent. In 1973 the U. S. A. had finally reached a ceasefire agreement with the North Vietnamese. As part of the agreement all U.S.A. troops left Vietnom.
