I enjoyed reading the responses regarding a request for a photo of a Vietnamese woman and a GI in love.

It is my impression that the "relationship" between Vietnamese women and GIs during the war was either: 1) prostitution or 2) the rape of an innocent young girl in a village. I don't understand why you want to glamourize the victimization of women.

Perhaps there was GIs and Vietnamese women in love, but I really doubt it, since most GIs didn't speak Vietnamese and most thought of Vietnamese as "Gooks."
