About the statue on the page: http://icarus.shu.edu/gallery/V_Portfolio/shrines/img3020b.html that you are trying to identify. Have you had any luck yet?
It reminds me of the statue in front of the Notre Dame in Saigon. However, I kind of doubt it because of the empty surroundings. Good luck. Pictures are great.
