I believe the name of the lake is Bien Ho which is near Pleiku. Check out www.geocities.com/pleikupals and open the Pleiku Photo Gallery and Bien Ho Lake. The statue was on that peninsula seen in the aerial photo. I have my own photograph of the lake and the statue is in it if only I had a scanner.
