35th FMS Fuel Systems Shop 8/67 to 8/68

From Bob MacAvoy, on Fri, 17 Apr 1998 16:35:55 GMT (in response to: Phan Rang Air Base)

I've been searching for a long time but haven't found any of
the old gang. Where the hell is everybody? Only Butch Doerfler
of Pittsburgh and I still correspond. Anybody out there who
was at PR the same time as me? Get in touch. I'll bet we could
swap a bunch of stories. I took a lot of photos on the flight
line and around the base. Some of you Phan Rang guys may not
know this but if you were there 10/68 thru 9/70 (don't quote
me on the ending date) you're entitled to the Viet Nam
Gallantry Medal with Palm. It was issued by the Vietnamese
Government. Check with the records center in St. Louis. What
were the F-100 squadron numbers and their corresponding tail
letters? Anyone?
