I was there from 4/10/70 to 4/10/71. Upon running around doing the DEROS checklist an Army Quartermaster told us we were entitled to the Vietnamese Gallantry Medal with Palm. So you see you were right. I was a ground radio operator with the Walt FACs those funny looking Cesna O-2s (Skymasters). Job was putting in air strikes, call sign Walt 40. Wasn't on the AB that much... usually at the MACV compound down town. Good to hear from you
