C-123 crash

I was driving on the flight line and my first sight of the aircraft was when it was upside down. Immediately it went down and burst into a huge fireball. The heat was so intense that no one could get close. No doubt in my mind that all aboard were instantly killed. I will never forget that incident. It saddens me to think about it even after all these years. I did not know your father, but we all lost family that day. You have my deepest sympathy.
