From RON MCFADDEN, on Wed, 05 Sep 2001 09:11:26 GMT (in response to: Phan Rang Air Base)
I was a crew chief on aircraft 608, C-123, 310 ACS. I haven't had the personal friendships like I had in Vietnam. In the past year I have had more thoughts of Nam than ever before. Miss all the guys that went through all of it with me. I miss trying to get rides fron the other side of the base at midnight.I now reside in Bend, Oregon, work for the Red Cross and am retired Air Force as of 1988. Thanks all you men and women who gave so much at such a young age. I have no regrets other than I wish I could remember more.
