I was on top of Nui Dat with the 518th all of 1967

Many of the members of the MP's remember coming up to our hill where you had a look out tower and later added the search lights mounted on Jeeps. Some of you may have had the pleasure of being invited to one of our daily bar-b-ques with steaks only. We got those steaks by trading case for case with the mess sargent c rations for steaks. Many of you may have also heard our blue grass band that played at the nco em and officers clubs. In addition, if you ever watched TV in Phan Rang you have me to thank for getting the AFTV to put a repeated up on top of our hill.
