Butch the wonder dog

I was a loadmaster in the 309th. Pat Nugent was a good friend of mine. Butch flew with me a few times. He would go the the flight line every now and then and hop on a plane. He would get off when ever we landed and smell the strange stuff. He woke me up one night trying to get me out of bed, a few minutes later we got mortered. I miss him still........
