Phan Rang 1/66>1/67

From Joseph D. Dias, on Sun, 27 Feb 2000 12:24:30 GMT (in response to: april 66-jan67 Phan Rang)

I remember arriving to a barren outpost. About 300 men as I recall. Many hot days building bunkers, stringing wire, pitching tents. Actually it was not much fun. Does anyone remeber the convoys to Cam Rahn to pick up supplies? By the time I left we actually had hootches etc. I can still tast the coffee cooked in large pans on a gas grill sitting on the ground. Does anyone know what it is like now?
