Here, you commit a logical fallacy. Just because Ho Chi Minh's Constitution resembles the U.S. and French documents, does not mean the leader means what he advocates, nor does it mean North Vietnam implemented it. Furthermore, the North Vietnamese primary goal was to reunify Vietnam under Communist principles-which means they would resort to any means necessary to achieve their agenda. This is why the North Vietnamese violated the Geneva Accords, a document which they themselves signed. Moreover, if you want evidence, look for several websites that expose Ho Chi Minh and the Communist dictatorship's crimes. Realize thousands of Vietnamese fled the country after 1975 because they had to escape the hardship and oppression of the Viet Cong and the North Vietnamese. If you want substantiation, please ask suffering Vietnamese living in this country, in Canada, in Europe, in other Asian countries, and even the former Viet Cong living in the country. Otherwise, your arguments are fallacious and useless. You do not understand the situation facing Vietnam in 1954, you do not understand the real Ho Chi Minh(he's very deceptive, exemplified by the fact that Ho is not his real name, that many of his political allies including former Communist intellectuals and military officers have been tortured or imprisoned. You may think that you are truthful because you think many books or articles written on Vietnam are reliable. According to a recent study of Cornell's undergraduate library, 98 percent of books written on the conflict by Vietnamese authors came from the North Vietnamese perspective. Many of them are deceptive and even contradictory in their details. Please do not accuse a 16-year-old student of being deceptive-I myself am finding answers to questions about the conflict. To say a certain document is enough evidence to establish the truth of your claim commits another logical fallacy-over-reliance on unsubstantiated evidence. I wonder who's being truthful, now, sir?
