...because, as we all know, serving in the military (and being married to someone who serves in the military) gives you more rights than the rest of us civilians who dare speak our minds and stand up for the things in which we believe.
You claim that Jane Fonda supported "them" over us--and that they were responsible for "no telling how many deaths of innocent people." Well, how many innocent deaths did we cause? Are we responsible for what they did--or are we responsible for what we did? Jane Fonda supported life over death. Jane Fonda supported peace over war. Jane Fonda supported independent thought over an unquestioning obedience to orders. Jane Fonda supported seeing the Vietnamese people as human beings rather than seeing them as targets; she took the time to learn their history and learn a little about their culture.
Deport Jane Fonda? After reading much of the ugly, violent things that some people have contributed to this website in regard to Jane Fonda (the worst of her statements in the 70's paling in comparison), I too think she should move elswewhere--this country doesn't deserve someone as humane as her. If being against war and killing, as Jane Fonda was during the Vietnam War, makes one a traitor to this country, then I think that speaks volumes about the country in which we live and the people who live here, as well as speaking volumes about her.
