Jane Fonda says she feels awful about posing for the famous photo. Although she has done pretty well with her theme of 'rebelious leader,' a democratic, freedom loving leader is one who can face and understand the past with humility and honesty. Jane Fonda isn't a 'real soul' in that reguard- just a bad actor playing a loosely knit series of melodramatic roles with consequences that still echo in our culture. P.S. This isnt about gender- (john walker- taliban). Also, there is nothing wrong with opposing war- I oppose war, when it isn't necessary. I just dont think she had, or has, a reasonable understanding of reality...
