That Jane Fonda is a woman is not the threat--only sexists make an issue over the fact that she is a woman. That includes women sexists who make sex a central issue while jabbering about not making sex an issue.

Jane Fonda was a "threat" to "true believers" because of her views, and where she expressed them, not because of her sex.

Tellme, female sexist, why you make sex the central issue while simultaneously insisting that sex should not be the central issue?
