I am a vet who served in the persian gulf on the front lines with the first Marine Division. during the conflict "God Bless the U.S.A" was played over and over again. while serving, we were told that Lee Greenwood the singer and writer of that song was a draft dodger during the Viet Nam war. I'm trying to confirm that . if any of your readers have an answer to my search, I'd be very greeatful to know the truth.
