I read that Lee Greenwood received a hardship that got him out of the draft because he already had children. Wouldn't that mean that he was a father at 18? And he "says" he "would've" gone if called. Now how is he going to be called when he already had the hardship which got him out of the draft? I'm sure there was plenty of other people, who had kids, that still went. Plenty of people have gone off to war and their children were born while they were there. If he'd "Poudly stand up next to you and defend her still today....." Why didn't he when he had the chance? There was women who served in this most recent war that had children and still went. Do you hear that Lee, there's women in this country that are braver than you!!! I am A United States Marine and a Gulf War Veteran and you make me sick Lee Greenwood!!! You have no business singing that song!!!!
