I agree that all those who hid out in college and or hid out in the National Guard should not be allowed to breath the same air a those of us who served in Vietnam. I served in Vietnam in 1967/1968 with the Americal and The First Infantry Division (The Big Red One) with both the 1/1 Armored Cavalry and the 1/4 Armored Cavalry as a combat soldier as a Cavalry Scout and Tank Crewmen. I have had my best friends die in my arms or a few feet. These are the very same men whom society has and still neglects. I went to Vietnam because it was my duty and to this day I do not regret it as I met and served with some of the finest men this country has ever produced. I regret that not all of them returned home and for many, who at least in their mind have never left Vietnam. Yes, I may say I have never meet a draft dodger that I like or ever will. Draft dodgers are the cowardly scum of the earth and allways will be at least in my mind.
