So who would you suggest protect our freedoms that you enjoy? We don't enjoy putting our lives on the line but it would be worse if someone did not do it. What is so bad about the situation is that the veterans do not know who the draft dodgers are and can not defend themselves as some of the dodgers hold high places in society and hold grudges against those of us who were not cowards. I respect your freedom as I was one who fought for you to enjoy it. A simple thank you would be appreciated. I agree that some persons are not cut out to be Marines, in fact a lot of folks are not cut out to be Marines, however there are other ways one can serve their country. Even a coward can find a way, as proposed by President Carter when he did his thing for the draft dodgers. Have a great week and enjoy your freedom that we vets have made possible. Howard Poole
