man girl, you are so right. the U.S. asked for our help. all we wanted was peace, we seen too much conflicts and grew tired of it. and first of all, technology did not play a part in our lives back then it's true that the Americans came and trained and clothed us, and tried to cure us, only because we were somewhat fighting on their side. who wants someone on their side that can't work with guns, or is unhealthy? I can still remember my parents telling me...how we were branded as traitors, all those lonely nights filled with the fear of communists finding us in the jungles. it was the U.S. who told us we were fighting for our freedom, yet we weren't even supposed to be in the war. it was them who made us believe we were fighting for our freedom and it was them, the U.S., who told their fellow soldiers the same thing but it was their war, not ours. THE U.S. CHOSE TO FIGHT the communist while we were supposed to have nothing to do with them. yet, in the end, we still lose. Now, we are in America, still not at peace. everywhere we go, even on the internet, we are harrassed, vietnam vets blaming us- when all this time, we fought for them, giving up everything...even the lives of family members who stayed behind in graves. it was them who convinced us we were fighting for our freedom, yet we were just mere puppets on the side, fighting their war for them-fighting for our freedom? more like telling us that we are when we really weren't. and still, the rest of the U.S. knows nothing.
