I agree

From Judy, on Fri, 28 Jul 2000 17:47:04 GMT (in response to: IF YOUR PEOPLE FOUGHT AS HARD AS WE,)

I am a 20 years old Hmong woman born in the US. I was the first to be born here. I know my parents brought me here so that I can have the freedom, education, and the opportunity that they were never able to have. I do work hard and have a goal set for me. My only response to your message is this. When you go to the memorial, you see all the names of the young men who fought for us Hmong and died so that we will have a better life. With no doubt we are forever in their debt... Now no where can you find the names of all the Hmong men who sacifice themselves so that they can save one American men. Every American men that was saved from a bombing or a bullet 10 Hmong men died. I am not saying that I am not greatful for all their HELP.. and truly without the Vietnam War I would not have all the opportunities I have now. All I'm saying is, if we are recognizing all the American men who saved us from the war then we should show the same respect to all the Hmong men who also saved us and died for us...
