Ina

From Kelly Jackson, on Tue, 06 Feb 2001 03:48:58 GMT (in response to: Operation Babylift)

Dear Diane Kelly,

I read your posting this morning, as it was just forwared to me by a friend of mine who was randomly searching the web this weekend. I arrived in Seattle Washington in April of 1975. I had been in Denver CO before my departure and wore an ID bracelet with the name "Ina" attached to my wrist.

For a lot of my adult life I have wondered about the people who helped bring us to our adoptive homes in the United States and unfortunatley had no records what-so-ever on my escort.

I am delighted to have found you. I e-mailed your personal account and anxiously await to hear back from you.

Last April I began to connect with other adoptees who were a part of Operation Babylift. Since that time, a few of us have started up an organization called VAN (Vietnamese Adoptee Network) and works as a resource for adoptees as well as people who are searching for other adoptees. http://www.van-online.org

Diane, thank you fo all the work you did 25 years ago. I hope to share a correspondce with you in the future.

Warm Regards, Kelly Jackson "Ina" Roux
