U.S involvement in Vietnam was another example its tyrannical and imperialist nature. They went to Vietnam to protect American business(just as in every other war), to protect its empire in South East asia. The American gov. did not car as long as they maintained control. The(Vietnamese)people could not(and will never be)held down, they struggled to be free. But what did the U.S gov. do, bomb the shit out of North Vietnamese peoples seeking freedom. But the will of the Vietnamese people was to strong, people in the U.S began to see these poor Vietnamese peasants as their brothers, they themselves victems of the same empire based on unfettered greed. The Vietnamese people proved that the evil empire could be beaten. You see people on T.V. who say they forgive the Vietnamese for what they have done to American GIs, this is totally and completely outragous!!!! What about the millions of Vietnamese men, women and children who died at the hands of the imperialist regime.
