Vietnam is in my heart.

Upon my recent return, my heart did not follow.

The country, a girl, and her family are all that matter to me. How difficult it was to leave.

American New Years in Vietnam. A king for a month. A shared moment of love and culture. My love of their culture. Their culture of love.

Now I must wait. Wait to go back. Wait for even the chance. And wait to see if their honesty and integrity last into the future.

Far from perfect, the land is not new. But I would give all good things up just to be back with you. Anh yeu Em.
