Peace is definatly impossible, domestic and military violence will always be present in our society there is nothing to do about it. The only thing to do is to wait it out and live with the reality of violence always being here. "War is all hell...we never should grow fond of it" (Robert E. Lee at Fedricksburg) Lee made this statement and it is true it is all hell. But sometimes we as humans have an animalistic view that we crave violence. So as long as there is humans there is going to be violence in society be it war of domestic. Peace is just a protestors word and that means nothing...liveing in a fantasy as I put it. the reality is that we will always have global violence and other problems of the sort. Nothing does show this as the Vietnam War how senseless it was and how many of our brave service men and women gave up there lives for our great country. They didn't want the war, however, the government did. So basiclly it boils down to the politicians say so on the question of war and peace.
