I am 29 years old and have been interested in all wars since
the american revolution, especialy the vietnam war.I have 
several family members who have served since WWI, and one
uncle(30 year MARINE!) who served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam.
Jeff, first i would like to say that I am discusted with you.
For one, Ia Drang took place in 1965 or '66, and those men
and boys who faught that battle and the ensueing one the next 
day faught for each other and themselves not for any other
reason.The Machine gunners who stayed behind and faught to the
last breath, without turning to run, knowing that certain 
death was iminent, just so their friends could escape and fight
on. They went because they were told to, thats what you do.
follow orders, but thats not why they faught.
