WHOM DO YOU THANK FOR WHAT?

From John Atkinson, on Fri, 04 Oct 1996 16:54:43 GMT (in response to: UNITED STATES NOW AND FOREVER)

Those cheerful hurras for all the servicemen than "fought for you", do they also apply to those who worked so thoroughly at Mi Lai and other similarly bloodstained places? Were they also "fighting for you"? And besides, what on earth were they doing in someone elses's house, meddling in someone elses's business? Maybe they fought for you, but they left behind a trail of three milion corpses. I would never accept anybody to exert such awsome violence in my name.
