What do you want to know? If you read a lot of the messages here, you can see things are still pretty divided. Some people hate us and the government. It's kind of like shooting the messenger. History can only answer the right or wrong of it. But to those who hate us or the military, let them look at history. When the military runs things it works. When politicians run things it a mess. Look at Patton and MacArthur as two examples. The Persian Gulf War is a great example of what happens when the military is given total control. 100 hours, need I say more. 
    As for the why of it. I'm no genius, but for the people with the negative attitude, let them go live somewhere that their attitude will get them put in jail,  killed, or just disappear in the night. There are still a lot of places in the world like that.
   Be proud of the uniform you wear, I am. That's right, I still wear the uniform. SFC Wm O Wright, Viet Nam 68-69, Persian  Gulf 91.
