I'm a seventeen year old girl at the Haddonfield Memorial
High School, and one of the courses I take is Vietnam.
I don't fully understand the war. In my opinion, we never
should have gone to war there. So many men lost their lives
in what seems to me, a pointless war.
We've had a lot of Vietnam Veterans come to speak to our
class, and I see in their eyes that they still live and
breathe the Vietnam war everyday.
I'm writing this response to thank all the men who fought and
risked their lives in such a dangerous war. To those who
died, and to those still alive, you are all heroes in my eyes.
Thank you all so much, and welcome home!
Sincerely,
Stacey Fryer
