Catalog Description: 

Explores the essential concepts and related skills required for a school administrator to manage a school facility and/or complex. Emphasis is placed on assesment and planning. Students will also project the needs and requirements of the future school plant as we enter the new century. 3 credits

 

Overview: 

Students will engage in strategic and tactical planning, resource identification, and plant management related activities.
Course Objectives: 

1. Students will be able to when given a set of conditions, develop appropriate responses to plant management problems and concerns.

2. Students will develop a comprehensive preventive maintainence plan.

3. Students will develop an appreciation for the requirements of school building plant of the future.
