Course Description

This course is a special summer course, design to introduce principles of web design and programming with the goal to create interactive web pages useful for mathematicians or students of mathematics. The course is exclusively "hands-on" to gain practical knowledge in creating appealing web pages with mathematical content. We will cover:

  • HTML, CSS, and XML
  • Programming Principles
  • JavaScript and forms processing
  • Java Applets and Java Programming
  • Web Servers
  • Other Web-enabled programming languages Languages
